Bucket List Destinations

With a history spanning 4,500 years Stonehenge has many different meanings to people today.

The Stone Circle is a masterpiece of engineering, and building it would have taken huge effort from hundreds of well-organised people using only simple tools and technologies. Visit Stonehenge to find out more about this iconic symbol of Britain.

The purpose of Stonehenge is unknown to us. It has no obvious practical purpose. It was not lived in and could not have been defended so there must have been a spiritual reason why Neolithic and Bronze Age people put so much effort into building it.

There have been many theories put forth over the years but what does the evidence suggest it may have been used for? Maybe you can figure it out?

Why not start of by visiting a WONDER OF THE WORLD!

St Ives - Cornwall

Wow what a beautiful part of the country,

The harbour town of St Ives is one of Cornwall’s best and most famous destinations. As well as boats and plenty of picturesque beaches, it has plenty of excellent restaurants worth a visit.

St Ives really does have it all - from sunrise to sunset an absolutely beautiful place with so many places you can just park the van up and relax

Pentland Hills Edinburgh, Scotland

I mean just take a look how beautiful this place really is.

Pentland Hills is the regional park has a stunning range of medium-sized hills stretching from the City of Edinburgh bypass down to Carlops.

Pentland Hills is a mixture of publicly-owned land (such as Hillend, Bonaly, and Harlaw), and private land used for farming and sport shooting. Reservoirs dot the landscape, providing homes for many birds and mammals. Plus there is also plenty of fishing spots near by.

This really is one to tick of the list.

Gstaad, Switzerland

Now this is one of our favourite places in the world!

Switzerland in general is a magnificent place but Gstaad is a heavenly village way up in the mountains. The palace you can see is absolutely stunning.

With glaciers near by, fantastic restaurants and powdery snowy mountains you can ski on your doorstep , this is a heavenly place is to die for and has to be visited at least once, in our case 20 times haha.

Rutland Water

Rutland Water is an irresistibly reservoir in England, east of Rutland's county town, Oakham.

Covering 4,200 acres of open countryside, the park offers everything from walking and cycling to fishing and watersports.

This beautiful reservoir is the perfect family camping holiday as there is even man made beaches there, so whether you want to relax around the beach or do all the activities it really does have it all.
